Flying M Taxidermy is excited to re-create your hunting trophies so they will last a lifetime. We are a full-service taxidermy business.

The business name may be new, but don't let that fool you. Alongside me is professional taxidermist BJ Simon with 20+ years of experience servicing the Southwest Kansas region. I have always dreamed of running my own small business, and boy has it been fun to meet and greet all my new customers! I have been re-creating hunters' experiences for 3 years now under BJ's supervision. Together we make a great team. I am a very self-motivated, hard-working individual ready to work on your next masterpiece. If you can dream it, I can create it. Nothing is too big or too small for us. Just like any profession, if you want to become great you have to continue to grow and learn new techniques that come along the way. We understand the investment our customers make so we strive to re-create the special memories they had. Each project that is completed in the shop is given special care to ensure a lifetime of preservation as well as a masterpiece you can be proud of.

Born and raised in the small town of Lakin, Ks, I had great passion for the love of wildlife as a child, and that has not changed. As a matter of fact, my passion has only gotten stronger. I sit on the board for multiple outdoor chapters, and we strive to give back to Mother Nature as much as we can every year. We plant habitats for wildlife, tree rows for protection, and food plots to ensure our wildlife get the nutrients they deserve.

         Even as a child, I was blessed with an artistic ability to see something and re-create it or mimic the drawing, Art class was something I looked forward to in school as I was able to improve my skills.

         Fast forward 10 years, and I am back to doing what I have a passion for. That is re-creating masterpieces for my customers. I enjoy seeing my customers' reactions of joy as I was able to give back a memory for them that will last a lifetime.
